The "Stadlauer Lände" planning area is located on the Danube between the Donaumarina underground station in the west and Praterkai station in the east. This area is bordered to the south by the Donaukai freight station and the Danube embankment railway ("Donauuferbahn") respectively.

Within the framework of the design workshop ROAMING CLASSROOM, participants in mixed working groups ("intercultural peer learning") are to develop concepts and visions for affordable and sustainable housing for the planning area.

The aim of this design workshop is to develop multifunctional, modular settlement structures in reusable construction, with the possibility of making these structures reusable elsewhere in a timely and cost-effective manner.
